We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to take ownership of a beautifully maintained, high‐quality build‐to‐rent residential community.
This is not a reactive maintenance role. It's a visible, people‐first position for someone who values strong relationships, clear communication, and pride in presentation. You'll be the trusted onsite presence, ensuring the community operates safely, smoothly, and to a gold‐standard every day.

The Role
You'll oversee all maintenance and operational services across a professionally managed residential property, ensuring buildings, assets, and facilities are safe, compliant, and immaculately presented.
You'll be the key onsite contact for residents, internal teams, and contractors—combining hands‐on maintenance leadership with a calm, professional, and approachable presence.
Key responsibilities:
* Oversee day‐to‐day maintenance of building services, plant, and infrastructure
* Lead and support Maintenance Officers
* Manage trades and external contractors (scope, schedule, quality)
* Conduct regular inspections and implement preventative maintenanceProactively identify and address maintenance risks or defects
* Respond to and coordinate emergency maintenance when required
* Maintain accurate records, asset registers, and documentation
* Liaise with residents and stakeholders on maintenance requests
About You
You're hands‐on, organised, and take genuine pride in well‐run environments. You communicate clearly, manage competing priorities with ease, and approach maintenance with a proactive, solutions‐focused mindset.
You'll bring
* Trade or Maintenance Services qualifications (or equivalent experience)
* 5+ years' experience in Facilities or Maintenance Management
* Experience leading teams and managing contractors
* Strong WHS and compliance knowledge
* Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Excellent attention to detail and organisation
* Friendly, professional communication skills
