Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled academic to join our team in the School of Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching subjects to a high-quality learning standard for students in Bachelors and Masters programs, conducting lectures and tutorials at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, developing and innovating high-quality subject materials and subject delivery, including web resources, and preparing project work to support student learning.
Additionally, the candidate will conduct high-quality scholarly research in Cyber Security, build and foster partnerships with industry, government, and other collaborators, and engage effectively with academic, industry, and international stakeholders.
We seek a collaborative and adaptable researcher with a strong track record in Cyber Security, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach subjects to a high-quality learning standard for students in Bachelors and Masters programs
* Conduct lectures and tutorials at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including teaching innovation and improvement
* Develop and innovate high-quality subject materials and subject delivery, including web resources
* Prepare project work to support student learning
* Conduct high-quality scholarly research in Cyber Security
* Build and foster partnerships with industry, government, and other collaborators
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in computer science, software engineering, or information systems, as well as a proven track record of quality research in Cyber Security.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, and a strong track record in Cyber Security.
