Overview
Front Foot Law specialises in legal secondment roles, working with experienced legal professionals who want shorter-term work with professional support and development. We are looking for an experienced retail lawyer to join us on a secondment with one of our clients. The role is remote.
Responsibilities
Advising on commercial contracts, franchising, leasing, and logistics agreements.
Supporting procurement and brand partnerships.
Addressing privacy, advertising, IP, and dispute issues.
Providing legal input on business transformation and digital retail strategies.
Managing legal risks while aligning closely with commercial objectives.
Working collaboratively with colleagues within the legal team and with internal clients.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
10+ years PQE in retail law, ideally with experience in both private practice and in-house roles.
Experience in the retail/FMCG sector.
Strong commercial mindset, pro-active approach, and flexibility.
Trained with a well-regarded firm and demonstrated in-house experience preferred.
