Overview
We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our leading and award-winning Finance practice group based in Melbourne on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Partner Andrew Booth and senior lawyers with administrative tasks
* Manage billing processes, including complex client billing requirements
* Assist with meeting and event preparations
* Coordinate internal and external appointments, including travel and diary management
* Support the team's business development activities
* Handle a variety of responsibilities and deliverables
Qualifications and Skills
* At least 3 years of Legal Assistant experience
* Previous billing experience is essential
* Proactive with strong attention to detail
* Ability to anticipate Partner needs to streamline administrative work
* Experience supporting one or more Partners in a busy practice
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Diary management experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
