The Practice
Step into a well-established, mixed billing GP teaching clinic that has proudly served the Newcastle community for nearly 70 years. The team consists of seven experienced doctors with diverse specialties including aged care, women's health, paediatrics, sports medicine, antenatal care, geriatric care, skin cancer and family medicine. Supported by three nurses, six administrative staff, a practice manager and a business development manager, the clinic fosters a collaborative, family-friendly atmosphere focused on high-quality patient care.
Located conveniently near a private hospital and several other healthcare facilities, this practice is positioned to serve a broad patient demographic, from families to the elderly. Opening hours are currently 8 : 30am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8 : 30am to 12 : 30pm on Saturdays, with the Saturday mornings shared between the GPs. The practice is exploring extending their opening hours to 9pm during the week, offering more options for flexible working hours and added opportunities to bill after-hours Medicare item numbers.

Essential Criteria
DPA position and visa sponsorship are available
AHPRA ESP and RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway (substantially comparable) GPs as well as GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.
