About the Role:
This is a unique role where you will be mentoring, developing and growing capabilities across our clinical workforce. The Clinical Lead Support Nurse will mentor team side by side, educating in real time, strengthening clinical leadership, governance, and workforce capability across Lutheran Homes Group’s Victorian residential aged care sites. The role will have an immediate focus on Horsham, with support also provided to Hamilton as required.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with Regional General Manager, site General Managers and the Quality Education Coordinator to impart best practice and develop our clinical workforces
- Support the orientation, professional development and development of nursing and care staff.
- Ensure best practice across all aspects of person-centred care
What You’ll Bring:
- AHPRA Registration as an RN
- Significant clinical experience in aged care, including resident assessment, care planning, and clinical oversight
- Strong knowledge of aged care reforms, accreditation processes, and the Strengthened Quality Standards 2025
- Organised, motivated, and reliable, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Postgraduate studies in Gerontology, Clinical Leadership, or Health Management
Special Requirements
- A current National Police Check is required
- Recommended to have current vaccinations in line with government health directives (e.g. COVID-19, influenza)
- Must complete a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process’
- Designated as Key Personnel under the Aged Care Act 2024; subject to suitability assessments
