About the role
selectability has an exciting opportunity for a life coach to join our team. As a life coach, you will assist members in setting meaningful goals to enable them to create a life on their terms; helping to close the gap between where they are and where they want to be. The Clubhouse is a dynamic environment supporting a growing community of members living with mental illness.
The peer-supported environment allows members to build confidence, make friends, and learn skills needed to access education and employment opportunities. You will work with members to develop weekly programs and assist in the day-to-day operations of the Clubhouse.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Fostering a positive, supportive, and motivating environment for personal growth
* Collaborating with other professionals to provide holistic support and resources
* Monitoring and evaluating client progress, adjusting coaching strategies as needed
* Empowering clients to build confidence, improve well-being, and enhance their quality of life
About you
To be considered for this rewarding role, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
To succeed, you must have:

* Ability to read and play music (highly desirable)
* Experience in the mental health industry
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to reach an isolated audience
* Most importantly… a positive attitude
Role Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience (highly desirable)
* A Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) or the ability to obtain one prior to commencing
* A current yellow card exemption or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You" completion certificate
* A current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland driver's license
* Roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance

This is a casual position based in Ingham.
