We are offering a full‑time or part‑time opportunity for a Career Coach to join our dynamic team at the Jobs and Skills Centre (JSC) in Karratha. In this role, you'll receive full training and support while helping individuals navigate their career journeys.
You will assist in providing free career development services to a diverse range of clients, facilitate engaging workshops, and collaborate with community and industry stakeholders across the Pilbara region.
Whether you have prior experience or are just starting out, if you're a quick learner with great interpersonal skills, we'll help you grow and succeed in this rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist clients with free career development and guidance to help them achieve their employment goals
* Maintain accurate records and track client progress
* Build and nurture relationships with community stakeholders to support local needs
* Help plan and facilitate workshops for community members and school students
* Stay up to date with career development best practices and contribute fresh ideas
* Complete all reporting duties as required
* Contribute to delivering outreach services (Tom Price, Onslow and Roebourne)
What We're Looking For
* Commitment to complete Certificate IV in Career Development
* Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with people from all walks of life
* A passion for helping others and making a positive impact in the community
* A good level of digital literacy
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* A current C Class Driver's Licence
* A Working with Children Check
* Experience facilitating workshops or delivering information sessions
* First Aid certification
* Event planning experience
