WORK AND LIVE IN WEIPA:
We are looking for a Fixed Plant Fitter who would like to relocate to Weipa or is a local. Weipa is located on the beautiful west coast of Far North Queensland and is the largest town in Cape York Peninsula.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
* Trade certificate (Mandatory)
* Construction Induction Card (Mandatory)
* QLD Coal Board Medical (Advantage)
* G1 Apply Risk Management (Advantage)
* HR Licence (Advantage)
ABOUT YOU:
* Ability to collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in related field.
* Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices within mining/domestic environments including shutdowns and fixed plant maintenance.
* Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
* A willingness to learn and adapt.
