About the Job
* The QC Chemist plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of products throughout the manufacturing process.
* He/She is responsible for conducting physicochemical analyses on raw and packing materials, in-process materials, and finished products to verify composition and adherence to local regulatory and Danone standards.
About You
* HND / BSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food science and technology or any other related discipline
* Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing and quality laboratory operations preferable dairy operations.
* Strong knowledge of chemical testing techniques and Food safety regulations
* Promoting strong team spirit, leading with people to achieve set goals
* Good laboratory practices and management knowledge
* Familiarity with sustainability practices and regulatory compliance
* Good leadership and communication skills
* Conversant with FMCG industry standards and regulatory guidelines (e.g., HACCP, ISO standards).
* Knowledge of FSMS (FSSC 22000) is an added advantage
* Familiarity with Quality Assurance protocols and Sanitation procedure
* Analytical skills and attention to details for interpreting test result
