Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Summary:
* Performs highly diversified duties such as installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting and repair of both production and facility equipment.
* Ensures all work is conducted in accordance with safety guidelines and aligns with the facility's productive maintenance system and processes to support site business goals and objectives.
* Collaborates in the development and implementation of site improvement initiatives, including continuous process improvement, machine reliability, and lean manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Executes planned preventative maintenance tasks, documenting necessary procedures and inventory management of consumable repair parts.
* Conducts scheduled preventative and unscheduled corrective maintenance on a variety of systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
* Communicates unsafe conditions or substandard machine performance to supervisors.
* Diagnoses equipment malfunctions through system and component level troubleshooting.
* Repairs system or component levels to return production equipment to service efficiently.
* Consults equipment manuals, work order documents, or other procedural documents for proper equipment operation.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
* Familiarity with Limble or similar CMMS systems.
* Knowledge of basic electrical components and ability to interpret electrical schematics.
* Advanced electrical troubleshooting skills, including:
o Understanding of electrical components and their functions in AC vs DC systems.
o Ability to utilize various test equipment to diagnose issues, i.e., multimeter, ammeter, oscilloscope.
o Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical schematics and ladder logic circuits.
* Systematic analytical method for equipment troubleshooting (7-step troubleshooting or equivalent).
* Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* Able to differentiate between electrical and mechanical faults in hybrid systems.
* Strong communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and 5+ years related industrial maintenance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and production maintenance experience.
* Facilities maintenance or Electrician Certificate Preferred.
* RPPO collateral duty or comparable experience is beneficial.
