Electrician (A Grade) – Food, Pharma & Health Industry Expert The Company

The Position
Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, you will be an integral part of a dedicated maintenance team responsible for the continuous operation of a sophisticated manufacturing facility. This role focuses on the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of electrical instruments and equipment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Swiftly undertaking repair activities on electrical instruments and equipment to restore operational capacity.
* Executing equipment installation projects, ensuring all electrical instrumentation is integrated seamlessly.
* Performing proactive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance.
* Making informed recommendations regarding plant, equipment, and procedures to enhance safety, quality, and financial outcomes.
* Developing meaningful interpersonal relationships with employees and leaders across all departments, including global program committees, to provide a professional service to the global business.
* Participating in a structured on call roster (1 out of every 5 weeks) to provide critical support outside of regular hours.
About You
We are seeking a Trade Certified Electrician who is professional, courteous, and adopts a flexible approach to their work. As part of a team dynamic where every function is essential, you will be someone who takes ownership of your tasks and thrives in a proactive environment.
Requirements
* Must be a Trade Certified Electrician (A Grade Licence).
* Proven experience in maintenance and automated plants. Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is highly advantageous.
* A reliable team player with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and take ownership of all tasks given.
* Q Fever Vaccination: Must be vaccinated or willing to undertake the process upon commencement.
* Current A Class Driver's Licence, Forklift Licence, and First Aid Certificate (highly regarded).
* Capable of performing duties involving lifting, climbing, and working in varied plant environments.
