The Role
As a School Officer, you will be accountable for the day-to-day running of the front office as well as various communications with staff in relation to the school's operations. You will ideally have strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide a high level of leadership and management and will be accountable to implement and develop operational processes ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Departmental policies and guidelines with regards to student enrolment, transfers between schools and local intake area and surrounds.
Suitable applicants will ideally model effective and quality customer and administrative support service delivery and use excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in collaboration with the administration team, school support staff, our school community and teaching staff. As a School Officer, duties may include assisting the Manager Corporate Services to maintain the financial position of the school, handling front desk inquiries and collaborating with all staff on daily operations with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
Ideally suitable applicants will be experienced in using Schools Information System (SIS) Administration, RM Billing, Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS), MS Office suite of programs and website experience. A focus on teamwork, self-motivation, initiative, excellence in customer service delivery and administrative support is highly desirable. The ability to work under supervision or independently is also desirable.
