A leading public‑sector technology team is seeking a Data Engineer for a contract role. You'll design, develop, and optimise scalable data pipelines, knowledge graphs, and AI‑ready architectures using modern tooling across a fast‑moving, cloud‑native environment.
What You'll Do
Develop, maintain, and optimise scalable data pipelines and workflows to support AI and machine‑learning initiatives
Design and implement cloud‑based data solutions using Snowflake, DBT, and modern data engineering tooling
Build and maintain knowledge graphs to enhance data relationships, insights, and downstream analytics
Write efficient, reusable Python code for data processing, transformation, and integration
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems and environments
Troubleshoot and resolve data‑related issues to maintain high‑performing, reliable data platforms
Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and cross‑functional teams to enable seamless data access
Support additional data engineering and AI‑related tasks as required
