Opportunity
iCan is offering a community access disability support worker position for enthusiastic individuals living in the the Maroochydore region.
Responsibilities
* provide comfort and assistance to clients with disabilities, including personal care, domestic assistance, and facilitating social activities.
* Support clients with complex needs and behaviours.
* Assist with implementing individual care plans and monitoring client progress.
* Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients, ensuring their well-being and dignity at all times.
* Provide domestic and personal care duties
* Transport to appointments and other activities
Requirements
* Computing skills
* Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Availability to work days, nights and weekends
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal
* First aid certificate
* CPR certificate
* Police check
* NDIS workers check (or willing to obtain)
* NDIS worker orientation module certificate
* Drivers licence (current) and reliable vehicle
* Blue card
* Yellow card

* A positive and professional attitude about undertaking personal care work
* A commitment adhere to guidelines around privacy and confidentiality and all other company policies and procedures

Pay: $41.00 – $45.00 per hour
