The role of Program Director involves managing large, complex programs with diverse stakeholders and supply chains. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering capacity building programs that enhance cyber security capabilities across the APAC region.
As a Program Director, you will take overall responsibility for program delivery, governance, and stakeholder management. You must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance, and financial control.
You will be accountable to the Digital Intelligence Head of Operations & Delivery for successful program delivery. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build meaningful relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include initiating, mobilizing, designing, developing, and delivering capacity building programs; managing program governance arrangements; building relationships with key stakeholders; driving value and innovation within the program; and providing leadership to delivery teams and suppliers.
* Initiate, Mobilise, Design, Develop, and Deliver the overall Capacity Building Program
* Manage the programme within the Digital Intelligence Lifecycle Management Framework governance process
* Develop and Manage key stakeholder relationships with clients, sponsors, partners and BAE Systems Group
* Continue to drive value and innovation within the programme by writing white papers, creating informal propositions, etc to stimulate customer and sponsor interests
* Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation and satisfactory completion of a portfolio of medium complexity projects, delivered by a variety of sub-contracting organisations in the relevant countries, (e.g. up to 12 months in duration, with direct business impact, up to a medium sized team and firm deadlines)
* Provide effective leadership to the delivery team and suppliers, and take appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances
* Act as a primary point of contact for the Client and have day to day accountability for the delivery of the project portfolio
* Contribute towards business winning activities for new or extended work, within or related to the scope of the project, program or portfolio
* Work with our Communications & Marketing team to support program goals
* Collaborate with teams across Digital Intelligence to achieve program objectives
This role will be Canberra based with regular regional travel. A minimum of NV1 clearance is required. An Australian national or citizen is highly desirable.
