The Trustee for Daley & Younan Trust – Heidelberg VIC
As baker, you will work with the Head Baker and Head Pastry chef to assist in the preparation and baking of sourdough bread, pastries and croissants.
Qualifications & experience
* 2 years+ experience in bakery production including mixing and baking and be prepared to work to a high standard
* A strong understanding of bread production and sourdough breads
* Excellent team worker with strong communication skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills
Tasks & responsibilities
* Assisting in the production and prep for the next day ahead
* Maintaining freshness and stock level of goods
* Upholding cleanliness of your section
* Following production schedules and procedures
* Preparation and rotation of ingredients for daily production
* Other general duties as required such as cleaning
* The work involve early morning starts and availability to work a seven days rotating roster.
