Daly Waters Pub
Daly Waters Pub is situated 620km south of Darwin at the intersection of the Carpentaria and Stuart Highways.
The Pub was built in 1930 and today it is one of the most iconic Outback pubs in Australia with tens of thousands of people travelling to visit each year.
Bistro is open daily from 11am to 8:30pm for lunch and dinner. Menu caters for steak lovers and those wanting to taste crocodile, kangaroo, and buffalo. Vegetarians and special requirements are also catered for.
Adelaide River Inn
Adelaide River Inn is situated 112km south of Darwin on the Stuart Highway, Northern Territory.
303 Bar and Bistro is open daily from 9am to 10pm for lunch and dinner. The Bistro serves old country style favourites and modern style meals. Famous for its local wild caught barramundi, and another dish worth trying would be the buffalo.
About the Role
Manage all operations especially the day-to-day activities of the hotel/pub.
Key tasks include:
· oversee all daily operations, including reception, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
· recruit, train, motivate, and supervise hotel/pub staff
· deal with guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and identity and implement service improvement programs
· manage budgets, monitor expenses, control inventory, set pricing, and analyse sales to improve profitability
· monitor stock levels and coordinate the placement of orders
· ensure strict adherence to health, safety, licensing, and security regulations
· promotional activities, marketing campaigns, and sales efforts to attract customers
· coordinate and supervise property maintenance and improvements
Qualifications and Skills
· Diploma or higher qualification in hospitality management or equivalent work experience
· recent experience in hotel management for a minimum of three (3) years
* strong understanding of hotel management best practices and software
* demonstrated experience preparing and delivering marketing plans
* outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills
* proven leadership abilities with great attention to detail
