About The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals interested in a career in aged care for multiple part-time traineeship opportunities at IRT. These positions are based at our Aged Care Centre in Tarrawanna.
This program lasts a minimum of 24 months and includes undertaking a Certificate III in Individual Support, delivered by ITeC Academy, combined with on-the-job experience and secure employment in a growing industry.
To Be Successful You Will Have
* A commitment to undertake the Certificate III in Individual Support qualification.
* The ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week (work and study), with availability on Tuesdays for study.
* A big heart — empathetic, adaptable, and passionate about supporting older Australians.
* A desire to start your career in aged care.
* Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, late afternoons, and evenings.
To Be Eligible For a Traineeship Candidates Must
* Be living or working in NSW.
* Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
* Not have already completed or started studying a Certificate III in Individual Support or similar; higher qualifications like Certificate IV or Bachelor’s make you ineligible.
* Have basic internet knowledge and access.
* Be able to use a computer and possess basic digital literacy skills.
* Have basic reading and writing skills to complete assessments.
* Own a computer or device to meet course requirements.
