Job Overview

Rockhampton Regional Council is seeking a collaborative Manager to lead our Civil Operations section. As Manager Civil Operations, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of road and civil infrastructure projects, whilst also undertaking stakeholder consultations and engagement with industry to keep abreast of trends and implement better practice solutions across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a multidisciplinary team across civil infrastructure planning, both urban and rural, capital works delivery teams and maintenance delivery teams.
Drive integrated planning and service delivery aligned with Council's Corporate Plan.
Drive change and inspire a high-performing team and foster a culture of accountability and customer focus.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven executive leadership with the ability to lead, mentor and develop a high-performing, results-driven team.
Demonstrated project management expertise, including driving organisational change and prioritising safety to ensure successful implementation of WHS programs and systems.
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (or an approved equivalent).
Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) accreditation.
