We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Claims Officer to join our team. As a Claims Officer, you will be responsible for handling claims in a fair and efficient manner, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Promote QBE's products and services through fostering great relationships with customers and stakeholders, showcasing our QBEDNA and company values
* Provide an exceptional operational and customer service experience for diverse internal and external stakeholders including our customers, Elders Agent, organisations, and partnerships
* Process claims in line with set procedures and policies, ensuring that claims are documented correctly, and resolved with a prompt and effective outcome
* Deliver high quality customer service and develop a good working relationship with all customers and service providers
* Manage claims using the appropriate external and internal specialists to achieve the settlement outcome efficiently and effectively
* Enhance and develop your own technical expertise and participate in professional development and training where required

Requirements:
">
* Previous experience within insurance claims is highly advantageous although not mandatory
* Previous inbound call centre customer service experience
* Strong customer service skills with a highly supportive approach
* A passion for making a difference and helping people in their time of need
* An engaging and courteous phone manner with the ability to type and talk concurrently
* Ability to handle multiple and competing tasks to meet customer needs
