About the role
Best Start ELC is seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader (3-4 year old room) to join our vibrant early learning centre in Wadalba, NSW. As a full-time Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Educators in providing exceptional care and education to our children aged 0-5 years.
What you'll be doing
* Developing and implementing age-appropriate educational programs that stimulate children's learning and development
* Providing hands-on care and supervision to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all children
* Fostering positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
* Mentoring and guiding a team of Educators, supporting their professional growth and development
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures
* Collaborating with the Centre Director to drive continuous improvement and best practice
What we're looking for
* Formal qualifications in Early Childhood Education (Bachelor or Diploma)
* Experience as a Room Leader or similar role in the childcare sector
* Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of Educators
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Passion for creating nurturing, engaging and inclusive learning environments
* Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications
* Working with Children Check
