The Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high levels of supportive engagement when veterans and their families access services.
* Design and implement social connection activities for positive health outcomes.
* Promote social connection activities through various channels to encourage maximum participation.
* Represent Mates4Mates at external events to promote awareness of holistic approach to veteran and family support and recovery.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* A relevant history of training or service in the Australian Defence Force or demonstrated experience working with current or ex-service personnel.
* Ability to self-start and self-manage own and others' performance.
* High levels of self-awareness and ability to adjust your communication style to suit your audience.
* Flexibility in approach to work when unplanned demands conflict with meeting deadlines.
* Intermediate computer skills including use of social media to engage with clients and undertake administration tasks.
* Well-developed oral and written communication skills gained from experience in various contexts.
