Your Role:
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing and optimizing infrastructure solutions that enhance IoT functionality. With at least 5 years of experience, you’ll bring expertise in cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, database optimisation, and firmware deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration of IoT devices.
* Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, AWS IoT, etc.).
* Automate data extraction and processing using SQL, MongoDB, and S3 .
* Design and optimise SQL and NoSQL databases for scalability and efficiency.
* Implement and maintain secure communication between cloud and IoT devices (MQTT, Mosquitto broker).
* Ensure system compliance with cybersecurity standards .
* Develop and deploy firmware for IoT devices (hubs/gateways).
* Collaborate with hardware suppliers to develop electronic products.
* Work closely with a remote development team for seamless deployment.
* Conduct code reviews, testing, and infrastructure audits to maintain high standards.
What You Bring:
* 3+ years of DevOps experience, with expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
* Strong knowledge of MySQL, relational database design, and SQL query optimization .
* Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (AWS IoT Core, EC2, MongoDB, Lambda).
* Innovative problem-solving skills with a creative approach to IoT challenges .
* Solid understanding of electronics integration and firmware development .
* Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
* Passion for learning new technologies and a proactive attitude toward challenges.
* Experience with DevOps practices, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) .
* Understanding of security best practices in cloud infrastructure and software development.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) .
* Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
