About the role
Join Best in the West Bakery as a hands-on baker in a busy, well-established production environment. You will prepare high-quality breads, pastries and other baked goods, maintain consistent product standards, and uphold strict hygiene and food-safety practices while working alongside a supportive team.
Key responsibilities
* Produce breads, pastries and daily bakery items to recipe and quality standards.
* Maintain consistent portioning, presentation and product quality.
* Follow food safety, cleaning and hygiene procedures.
* Assist with ingredient prep, stock rotation and basic inventory tasks.
* Work independently and collaborate with the team to meet production targets.
About you
* Qualified baker or demonstrable commercial baking experience.
* Reliable, punctual and able to work afternoon shifts, including weekends.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
