Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Planner to join our team. As a Traffic Planner, you will be responsible for designing and reviewing traffic management plans, consulting with stakeholders, conducting site inspections, and ensuring all plans meet legislative and safety standards.

You will play a key role in supporting major projects and driving process improvements in a fast-paced environment. This position will see you working closely with our Operations Manager & Planning Coordinator.

Candidates must have valid Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.


Responsibilities

* Design and draft TMPs and TGSs in line with legislation and company policies.
* Review and provide feedback on plans prepared by other team members.
* Conduct risk and hazard identification, documenting controls in all plans.
* Consult with stakeholders (clients, authorities, emergency services, etc.).
* Conduct site inspections prior to preparing TMPs.
* Manage permit applications and requirements in a timely manner.
* Communicate operational requirements to the team.
* Prepare and manage work packs for projects.
* Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
* Ensure HSE compliance and suitability checks before implementation.
* Conduct HSE compliance site inspections.


Qualifications

* Advanced Worksite Traffic Management Certification is essential.
* Minimum of two years' experience in traffic management is required. Two years' experience as a planner is preferred but not essential.
* RapidPlan experience for the design of complex and non-complex TMPs is preferred but not essential.
* Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Standards, MRWA Code of Practice and AGTTM documents.
* Experienced in using Microsoft office packages.
* Ability to work well under pressure and in a constantly moving industry.
* Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities.
* Sound administrative skills and computer literacy.
* Ability to relocate to the South West within 4 weeks of acceptance of role.
