Meyer Food Co – Who we are
When people hear the name Meyer Food Co, most haven't heard of us, and that's fine. We're not a brand in the spotlight, but we're behind some of the biggest names in Australia. Our products are used by major retailers, clubs, pubs, national fast-food chains, aged care providers and hospitals across the country.
We specialise in value‐added food. Using a unique cooking (Sous Vide) and packaging process, we take raw ingredients and turn them into slow‐cooked, nutritious, great‐tasting meals. Last year alone, we produced enough meat to feed every person in Australia three times over. Chances are, you've eaten our products plenty of times without even realizing.

We're entering a significant growth phase as a business. New customers. Increasing production capability. Greater scale. Bigger opportunities.
As part of that growth, we're creating a new Sales & Business Development Manager role to help lead the next stage of our commercial journey.
This is not a maintenance sales role.
It's an opportunity to help shape how Meyer Food Co goes to market as we continue growing across areas such as retail, foodservice and strategic national customers.
Working alongside the Sales Director, you'll help drive the growth strategy, strengthen our commercial approach to market, and build deeper partnerships with some of Australia's biggest food businesses.
You'll lead a team of four while working at the centre of customer strategy, operations, NPD and commercial decision making.

How you'll contribute
This is a hands‐on leadership role where your impact will be visible across both the customer and operational side of the business. Key areas of contribution include:
* Leading, coaching and developing a team of four across sales and account management
* Growing existing customer accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities
* Building strong customer relationships and acting as a trusted commercial partner
* Leading tenders, negotiations and commercial agreements
* Working closely with NPD and Operations to ensure opportunities are commercially viable and operationally achievable
* Bringing customer and market insights back into the business to support strategic decision making
* Supporting successful product launches from concept through to production
* Maintaining strong commercial discipline across pricing, margins and account management
What is needed to be successful
We're looking for someone with proven leadership experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or a similar environment where delivery matters just as much as winning the sale.
You'll bring demonstrated experience leading and developing a sales team, while remaining commercially hands‐on and customer focused. Strong capability across account growth, pricing, negotiations and strategic relationship management will be important, along with the ability to work cross‐functionally with Operations, NPD and Marketing in a fast‐moving manufacturing environment.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who can combine commercial thinking with practical execution, building strong relationships internally and externally while helping drive the business forward. Experience within meat or protein manufacturing would be highly regarded but not essential.
