$120,000-150,000 + Super (subject to experience)
About the Role
This opportunity sits within a highly regarded, long-standing, national insurance brokerage with a strong reputation in complex and heavy industry risks. The business is known for its tenured client relationships, technical depth, and collaborative culture, particularly across civil construction, engineering, and industrial operations.
You'll join a close-knit, high-performing team managing significant and technically complex accounts, with exposure to some of the largest and most established clients of the brokerage within this portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage your own portfolio of Small and Mid-Market clients (book size based on experience)
* Work closely with a Senior Broker on large corporate, six-figure income accounts
* Act as a key client-facing contact, building trusted, long-term relationships, independently and in conjunction with your senior team
* Work collaboratively with your senior broker and 2 team assistants to allow efficient and high-level standard of client service
* Manage renewals, endorsements, queries and day-to-day servicing of accounts
* Participate in strategy discussions for complex and high-risk placements
* Assist with claims management (with growing internal support)
* Maintain accurate documentation, meeting notes, and compliance requirements
About You
* 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance broking, either at a support level wanting to take the next step or as an SME broker wanting more complex risk exposure
* Tier 1 essential
* Comfortable being client-facing and managing relationships independently
* Bonus (not essential): Exposure to heavy industries such as: Civil construction, Engineering, Industrial and chemical operations
* Strong communication skills with a proactive, collaborative, and organised approach
* Keen to learn, grow, and gain exposure to corporate-level accounts
