Role Overview
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our organization as an experienced M&A Underwriter.
* Key Responsibilities:
* • Provide expert underwriting services for representation and warranty insurance policies in connection with M&A transactions, ensuring accurate assessments and pricing of risks.
* • Develop and negotiate bespoke insurance policies with lawyers and brokers domestically and internationally, leveraging commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills.
* • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including lawyers, bankers, and brokers, to drive new business opportunities and expand the team's network.
* • Collaborate with the Marketing team to contribute to Transaction Liability marketing content, materials, and campaigns, providing valuable insights and expertise.
* • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and market trends, applying knowledge to inform underwriting decisions and improve risk assessment.
* • Mentor junior team members, providing coaching, buddying, and technical training to ensure seamless onboarding and continued growth.
Requirements
* Mandatory Skills:
* • Strong background in M&A transactions, with experience in underwriting and risk assessment.
* • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* • Proven track record of driving business growth and expanding networks through effective negotiation and relationship-building.
* • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
* • Strong understanding of commercial approaches to risk assessment, with ability to apply knowledge in real-world scenarios.
