Role
:
1. Undertake complex legal work as required across a number of specialised portfolios.
2. Undertake research and analysis of legal issues and provide written and advice as required.
3. Ability to prepare litigation of moderate complexity, including the preparation and conduct of breaches of supervision orders made pursuant to the Serious Offenders Act 2018.
As our ideal candidate you will have:
4. Undertake research and analysis of legal issues and provide advice as required, to external agencies including Counsel, OPP Staff, Crown Prosecutors, the Executive and the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to ensure the effective prosecution of cases.
5. Work effectively and co-operatively with other staff to ensure the efficient processing of files and tasks.
6. Ensure that cases are competently, efficiently and expeditiously prepared and properly presented before court.
