About the Position
We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Health Support Officer to join our Regulatory Services team in Tom Price.
Reporting to the Coordinator Environmental Health Services, this position is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Environmental
Health team. The role includes both fieldwork and administrative tasks, such as mosquito management (including larvicide distribution, trapping, and testing for mosquito-borne viruses), water sampling in various locations, and pool fence inspections to ensure compliance with legislation.
Additionally, the role involves assisting in the delivery of services aimed at maintaining and improving environmental health within local communities across the Shire of Ashburton, as well as offering ongoing support and performing ad hoc duties as needed.
