About the role
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a part‐time Canteen Assistant on the afternoon shift at DON in Castlemaine, Victoria. This is a permanent part‐time role with an immediate start, working Monday to Friday (approximately 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm). The rate of pay is $25.65 p/h + penalty rates.
Responsibilities
* Food preparation, basic cooking, and customer service
* Cleaning, dishwashing, and stock replenishment
* Heavy lifting as required
Qualifications & Experience
* Food Handlers Certificate – desired
* Solid experience in a similar position, including food preparation and customer service
* Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
* Thorough understanding of OH&S and Food Safety practices
* High attention to detail with a hands‐on approach
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast‐paced, dynamic work environment
* Catering experience is a bonus
