As our operations grow, we are looking for a Water Treatment Process Engineer to join our Brisbane-based team and contribute to the design, optimisation, and delivery of water treatment systems across a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop water and wastewater treatment processes for municipal and industrial clients.
- Conduct process modelling, performance analysis, and pilot testing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
- Support project delivery from feasibility through to commissioning and operational support.
- Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to provide technical advice and project updates.
About You
- Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in water or wastewater treatment process design or operations.
- Strong knowledge of treatment technologies such as coagulation/flocculation, filtration, disinfection, membrane systems, activated sludge, etc.
- Experience with process modelling tools (e.g. BioWin, GPS-X) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
