News editor wanted for West Australian Regional Newspapers
Seven West Media's West Australian Regional Newspapers is searching for a news editor, to be based in Busselton, WA.
The news editor is in charge of processing all incoming content and writing some of the material themselves. They will also liaise with the editorial staff in planning article production and layout, and conduct interviews with subjects of interest. The person may also be tapped to represent the West Australian Regional Newspapers in public events, and build up contacts in the local community.
The prospect must have worked in an editor role for at least three years. They must be capable of working efficiently under sheer pressure, have strong interview and communication skills, and bears a valid driver's licence.
