About the Role:
This Test Manager position is a key opportunity to lead testing requirements for various projects, driving quality and efficiency.
The responsibilities include developing and implementing test strategies, planning and coordinating test activities, designing and executing tests, supporting non-production environment requirements, and incorporating agreed-upon testing tools.
The Test Manager will oversee all testing activities, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results. Essential skills include commercial insurance knowledge, exceptional stakeholder management, strong communication, and experience in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive test strategies outlining objectives, scope, resource plans, RACI's, defect management processes, and schedules.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define test environment governance processes, test data, and non-production environment availability.
* Maintain thorough documentation of test strategies, test plans, test cases, test results, requirement traceability matrices, and other testing artifacts.
* Coordinate, coach, and support team members in all aspects of testing phases, including system testing, integration testing, business acceptance testing, production verification testing, and regression testing.
About You:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry or financial services.
* 2-6 years of previous test management experience in large-scale project settings.
* Minimum 2 years of test management experience in commercial insurance.
* 2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment.
* Advanced stakeholder engagement skills combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a flexible environment and be adaptable to change.
* Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level Certification (CTFL) and Agile Fundamentals - ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) or similar.
