About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our BJ Howes Metaland Team at our Tamworth Branch.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the purpose of this position is to support our sales and operations team, with the picking, processing, dispatch and delivery of customer orders. The successful applicant will undertake the following responsibilities…
* Forklift driving
* Picking and packing goods
* Loading and unloading goods
* Moderate physical fitness is required for handling steel products and heavy lifting tasks
* Warehousing of goods including steel products
* Some previous warehousing or logistics experience is preferred for this role
* Store merchandising
* Assisting with inventory control
* Processing steel orders
* Deliveries using ute and MR truck
* Exceptional Customer service

Permanent residency status is required for this position.
No forklift licence? No truck licence?.. No problem.. although it would be an advantage for the right candidate to have both, we are happy to support the right candidate to acquire either… what is more important to us is that you..
