We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Expert/Inspector to join the New Women and Babies Hospital Team in the Perth metro area! In this role, you will work with subcontractors and suppliers to deliver quality in the construction effort and play a pivotal role in ensuring quality systems/software, processes, procedures are executed effectively to achieve project outcomes.

WeBuild is delivering the design and construction of the Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. This landmark project will replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and expand services and choice for women, newborns and families, delivering lasting benefits and a positive legacy for the people of Western Australia.

Your focus will include:

* Plan, monitor and manage issues and performance of QA systems and processes, using a risk-based approach.
* Adhere to the quality strategy for the project with a focus on delivering compliance and reporting standards.
* Be responsible for implementation of the Head Contract and Suppliers Quality Management Plans.
* Respond to quality issues, attend inspections, and educate project team to ensure works are compliant.
* Provide support to project teams regarding construction delivery and application to of specifications whilst ensuring best building practice approach.
* Review of work packages and supplier ITPs and associated supplier documentation prior to field implementation.
* Engage with suppliers in field craft inspection, surveillance and audits as required.

What you will bring to the team

* Qualifications in Inspection and or Construction and Engineering disciplines.
* 8+ years minimum experience in similar role managing construction projects with a tier one contractor in Australia
* Demonstrated experience working on large scale construction projects – healthcare highly regarded
* Knowledge of typical project management software e.g. Aconex, GLAASS and skill with Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Outlook, Word)
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
