About The Role
Reporting to the firm's CEO, the Financial Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the firm's financial performance by delivering high quality financial analysis, management reporting, and commercial insight across the firm.
This role requires a strong understanding of law firm financial and profitability drivers, including utilisation, leverage, recovery, pricing, client and matter profitability and team/group performance. Initially, the role will focus on developing a deep understanding of the firm's existing financial and management reporting suite and assuming responsibility for the ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and accuracy of those reports. Over time, the role will evolve to provide more forward‐looking analysis and decision support to senior leaders, partners, and practice groups.

About You
If the following sounds like you, we would love to hear from you:
* You have proven experience as a Financial Business Analyst, Management Accountant, or similar role within a law firm or professional services environment.
* You possess a strong understanding of law firm financial and profitability drivers, including utilisation, leverage, recovery, matter margins, and partner performance.
* You have advanced Excel skills and the ability to reverse‐engineer complex Excel reports and models.
* Working knowledge of SQL, including writing and maintaining queries for reporting and analysis.
* Experience maintaining and enhancing established reporting frameworks.
* You are a problem‐solver with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
* You hold a degree in Finance or Accounting, Business Analytics, or equivalent practical experience.
* You are commercially minded and are able to work independently while collaborating effectively across the firm.
