This role is responsible for procurement and supply chain management. The successful candidate will be able to manage company purchases, negotiate prices and place orders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best value for money
* Manage purchasing requests from other departments
* Ensure smooth running of supplies and stationery
* Work with the PL clerk to resolve supplier invoice discrepancies
* Manage quality control and returns
* Conduct regular stock takes and make adjustments as necessary
* Support materials forecasting and planning
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, a high attention to detail and be able to work independently.
Requirements:
* Purchasing experience preferred
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
