About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact, help shape the future of TAFE Gippsland and collaborate with emerging industries across the Gippsland region.

The Business Partner plays a critical role in driving organisational growth through the development of high-value partnerships and the achievement of agreed sales and revenue targets. This role combines client relationship management, business development and market intelligence to deliver measurable revenue outcomes and long-term value for TAFE Gippsland. With a primary focus on developing long-term strategic partnerships across all industries including the Emerging Industries and Trades portfolio in the Gippsland region, the role is responsible for developing and sustaining long-term strategic partnerships. This includes identifying and progressing revenue opportunities aligned to both government funded (Skills First) and commercial revenue. Working in close collaboration with the Education Delivery Leadership Team, the Senior Business Partner is responsible for establishing financial targets and implementing sales and marketing initiatives to support the delivery of partnership agreements and achievement of sector and budget outcomes. The role can be based at either Yallourn or Bairnsdale Campus'.

* Demonstrated ability to establish and strengthen relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering partnerships in areas of mutual interest.(i.e. partnering with Educational Delivery to develop capability to meet industry needs)
* Strong IT literacy in Microsoft suite products including Excel
* Well-developed influencing and negotiation skills
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage complex projects and multi-task

Qualifications & Experience

* A bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field is highly desirable
* Proven track record in business development, partnerships and high-value sales
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building capabilities
* Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market trends
* Experience in strategic and operational planning and achieving revenue growth

Mandatory Requirements

* Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
* Current Police check (no older than 12 months old).
* Current Driver's License

A 6-month probationary period applies to this role.
