Job Title: Technical Services Superintendent
This leadership role oversees the Mine Planning team, ensuring successful mine planning and coordination with production personnel in an open-cut truck and excavator mining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and continuously improve the performance of the Mine Planning team
* Develop short to long-term mine plans
* Coordinate coal geology and reconciliation processes
* Oversee geotechnical, survey, and production scheduling activities
* Generate accurate forecasts and reports
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification
* Generic Surface Induction (Standard 11)
* Supervisor Competencies (S123 & G2)
* Senior First Aid Certificate
* Current QLD Coal Mining License
* Valid open driver's license
Experience:
* At least 5 years of experience in a leadership position managing professional mining staff
* Proven ability to work effectively with production personnel
* Demonstrated understanding of Mine Planning application systems
* Thorough knowledge of QLD Coal Mining Legislation and its requirements
