Position Available: Yard Team Leader - OSR
Location: Darwin
About the Role:
As our Team Leader - OSR (Off-Site Receipting), you will play a pivotal role for our business. You'll lead a team to ensure the smooth coordination of goods received, documenting, processing and receipting the freight from one of our major customers. It'll be your responsibility to ensure KPI's are met while maintaining accuracy and safety within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise the day-to-day receipting operations at off-site locations.
* Ensure all incoming shipments are accurately received, documented and processed.
* Maintain compliance with SOPS and WHS.
* Lead, train, and support a team of operators.
* Allocate tasks and monitor team performance, productivity, and adherence to KPIs.
* Act as the first point of contact for escalations and problem resolution.
* Liaise with drivers, warehouse personnel, and transport planners to coordinate delivery schedules.
* Ensure proper labelling, barcoding, and system updates to support logistics functions.
Skills and Experience:
* Valid Forklift Licence & experience
* Strong understanding of logistics and transport operations.
* Leadership experience in a warehousing, transport, or logistics environment.
* Proficiency in logistics systems and tools (SAP & Scanners).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and time management.
