Dennis Transport, an innovative transport company that prides itself on providing quality service is seeking an experienced forklift operator to join their local team in Wingfield.
This casual position offers 35 – 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday and offers above award pay rates.
The position is fast paced and requires a can-do attitude with attention to detail and the capacity for manual lifting.
Duties will include:
* Load and unload freight manually and/or with a forklift.
* Provide quality customer service.
* Complete required documentation in relation to freight handling.
To be considered for this position candidates will need to:
* Hold a Licence to Perform High Risk Work (LF) (with experience)
* Have a minimum of 2+ years of forklift operating experience.
* Be able available for early starts.
* Be fit to undertake manual handling duties.
* Have a good work ethic and attention to detail.
* Have good customer service and communication skills.
Ideally the successful candidate will have transportation industry experience in the loading/unloading of freight.
Applicants who also hold an unrestricted HR licnece with experience in the delivery of freight, would be looked on favourably.
The successful applicant must be entitled to work in Australia and be prepared to provide a criminal and drivers licence history check and undergo pre-employment drug & alcohol screening.
