Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Community Mobile Physiotherapist to join our team on a part-time basis. You will be responsible for providing physiotherapy services to elderly clients across the South East suburbs of Melbourne. This is a great opportunity to work independently while making a meaningful difference in the lives of elderly clients, helping them achieve greater mobility and independence
Key Responsibilities:
Provide physiotherapy assessments and treatments to clients in their homes.
Deliver individualised physiotherapy programs focused on mobility, pain management, and rehabilitation.
Work with clients under Home Care Packages (HCP) and Short Term Restorative Care (STRC) funding models.
Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Maintain accurate client records and progress notes.
Deliver education and support to clients and their families regarding mobility aids, exercises, and rehabilitation strategies.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
Current AHPRA registration.
Minimum of 1 years' experience working with elderly clients, preferably within Home Care Packages (HCP) and Short Term Restorative Care (STRC).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a mobile caseload.
Current Police Check.
A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
