Administrative Support Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our College Services team, you will provide frontline service in a fast-paced environment, delivering critical day-to-day activities for Health. This is a key role that requires excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to customer service excellence, and the ability to contribute to continuous improvement systems.
About the Opportunity:
The Administrative Support Specialist will work closely with professional and academic staff within Health, providing front-of-house support, including reception duties and event coordination. You will maintain an understanding of current policies and procedures, providing proactive, accurate, and solutions-focused advice and enquiry management. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and proficient use of approved University systems.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver responsive and customer-focused service to professional and academic staff within Health.
- Provide front-of-house support to the College, including reception duties and event coordination.
- Maintain an understanding of current policies and procedures, providing proactive, accurate, and solutions-focused advice and enquiry management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and proficient use of approved University systems.
- Actively contribute to a superior service culture, enhancing the awareness and contribution of the team, and identifying opportunities to improve service delivery.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Certificate IV/Diploma level qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and proactive contribution to continuous improvement systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills that enhance the ability to communicate effectively, collaboratively, and harmoniously.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy, maintaining confidentiality and using discretion and sound judgment.
- High-level computer literacy, including competence in the Microsoft 365 suite, and experience with other database operations.
