About the role
We’re Hiring! Female Support Workers with experience in Child Protection and Youth Justice – Geelong
My Choice Group is looking for experienced female support workers in Geelong to support a young client with in home support, school pick up and drop off and community access.

Our client requires Support Workers who can commit to consistent ongoing availability weekdays between 7am and 4pm. This is a casual role offering up to 30 hours per week
What you'll be doing
· Assisting a client to develop life skills and prepare for school and community based activities
· Facilitating social, recreational, and educational activities to promote clients' independence and community engagement
· Monitoring clients' physical and emotional wellbeing, and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate team
· Providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all clients
· Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and industry regulations to ensure the highest standards of care
What we're looking for
· Experienced female applicants due to client‘s needs and preferences
· Required is a minimum of 3 years' experience in child services/youth justice
· Availability for a variety of shifts during weekday hours of 7am-4pm
· Lived experience is an advantage
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on client-centred care
· Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
· Current First Aid and CPR certification
· NDIS Worker Screening Check

Pay: $34.00 – $43.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
