Job Description
About the role
This fixed-term contract position in the Financial Control team will play a key part in the Group's statutory financial reporting and consolidation processes for the upcoming year end.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist with the preparation of the consolidated financial statements for SEEK and the standalone financial statements for companies within the SEEK Group
* Prepare consolidation journal entries and associated balance sheet reconciliations
* Contribute to monthly internal reporting, which could include tasks such as performing balance sheet reviews or assisting with the preparation of the cash flow statement
* Assist with other financial control tasks as required
Qualifications
Skills and experience
This role will be a great fit for someone who recently completed their CA or equivalent qualification in a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm, and is looking for their first industry role.
* CA / ACCA / equivalent qualification
* Experience in preparing or auditing financial statements under AASB / IFRS
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Thrives when working with uncertainties and ambiguity
