The Assistant Director (Speech Pathology, Audiology, Orthoptics) assists to provide high level leadership, strategic direction, professional governance and workforce planning in the management and delivery of Speech Pathology, Audiology and Orthoptics services.
The role supports the Director of Speech Pathology, Audiology, Orthoptics, and Clinical Assistants in the delivery of operational management of the Speech Pathology, Audiology and Orthoptics services and for these staff working within the Allied Health Service Delivery Model (AH-SDM).
Key Responsibilities include:
* This position reports operationally and professionally to the Director of Speech Pathology, Audiology, Orthoptics and Clinical Assistants. Collaborating and consulting with the Director regarding planning, co-ordination, and integration of these services across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
* Assist the Director of Speech Pathology, Orthoptics, Audiology and Clinical Assistants to manage, lead and coordinate (in consultation with other key stakeholders) the Speech Pathology, Audiology and Orthoptics staff working across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service operationally and professionally.
* Assist the Director of Speech Pathology, Orthoptics, Audiology and Clinical Assistants as delegated in operational and resource management and, as delegated be accountable for the administration, direction and control of asset and financial responsibilities of Speech Pathology, Audiology and Orthoptics, within the AH-SDM.
Remuneration value up to $172,615 p.a., comprising salary between $144,991 - $151,289 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
