We are seeking an experienced and innovative educator to join our team as a Casual Teacher.
Casual Teaching Opportunity
This role involves delivering nationally recognised courses, working in various environments with different teaching modes. Successful candidates will be responsible for developing resources, assessment tools, and maintaining relationships with industry and key government bodies.
Teachers work as part of a team, involved in course coordination activities supporting the effective operation of the teaching centre and student learning outcomes.
Additional teaching requirements may include coordinating and teaching fee-for-service and industry-based programs, depending on qualifications and expertise.
We seek a qualified trainer/assessor to deliver nationally recognised courses:
* Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck
* Operate Elevated Work Platforms up to 11 Metres
* Licence to Operate a Boom-Type Elevated Work Platform 11 Metres or More
Delivering all three courses is ideal, but we welcome applications from individuals qualified in one or more areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:
* Approved degree, diploma or certificate in a relevant vocational area, approved equivalent qualifications, and industry experience demonstrating currency in vocational workplace competencies
* A current AQF4 vocational teaching qualification, e.g., Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110, TAE40116 or TAE40122
* Employee Victorian Working with Children Check and satisfactory Police Check
* Current driver's licence
