Disaster Risk Reduction Specialist Role
The position of Disaster Risk Reduction Specialist involves collaborating with the CRCSU team to enhance technical assistance for integrating DRR into gender-responsive and inclusive climate and disaster resilience across development sectors and program cycles.
About the Position
* Apply a holistic, all-hazards approach to identify disaster risk management and reduction measures for climate-related hazards and non-climate related hazards.
In this role, you will work closely with the team to strengthen integration of DRR in various sectors. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Developing strategies to reduce vulnerability and improve preparedness for disasters;
